AASLD's "Clinical Insights for Hepatology and Liver Transplant Providers During the COVID-19 Pandemic"

This document provides data on what is known about COVID-19, and how it may impact hepatologists and liver transplant providers and their patients. Our aim is to provide a basic template for the development of clinical recommendations and policies to mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on liver patients and health care providers. This document will continue to evolve and be reviewed by the authors and AASLD Governing Board, and be revised and updated as needed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

AASLD webinar – "COVID-19 & Disparities of Liver Disease Care"

COVID-19 has had a profound impact on displaying the disparities in COVID-19 and liver disease care. Discussing and understanding how and where health care disparities are the most widespread is an important aspect for preparing you to begin discussions on reducing disparities.

This webinar will:

  • Provide a better understanding of health care disparities uncovered by the COVID-19 crisis around the world
  • Describe the factors increasing the prevalence of health care disparities during the initial phase of the COVID-19 crisis
  • Discuss potential solutions that can help reduce health care disparities with COVID-19 and liver disease care

Attendees can submit their COVID-19 questions in advance via this survey. Our experts will select a few questions to discuss during the webinar. Questions must be received by Tuesday, September 8, 11:59 am ET. Once the deadline passes, you can submit your questions directly to the speakers during the live webinar, time permitting.
