AASLD seeks a detail-oriented individual with exceptional interpersonal skills to coordinate the implementation of AASLD’s abstract submission and review processes, and COI process for abstract submitters, reviewers, and scientific session moderators for AASLD’s annual meeting, The Liver Meeting® and Digestive Disease Week® (DDW). The incumbent will provide administrative support for related educational activities, including speaker management.

The successful candidate will be professional and an energetic, proactive self-starter, with strong administrative, communication, writing, and customer service skills, who is eager to join an energetic team.

AASLD, an association for scientists and healthcare providers in the field of liver disease, seeks a talented and dynamic marketing manager to join our marketing and communications team. The Manager, Marketing will work closely with our Director of Membership and Marketing and other team members to develop and execute integrated, multi-channel marketing plans, and provide marketing support for AASLD events, educational opportunities, and other special projects or initiatives. This position is responsible for ensuring message consistency and AASLD brand alignment across campaigns, develops and tracks marketing campaign budgets, and manages relationships with vendor partners, as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-6 years’ experience in planning, marketing, and communications, preferably at an association or medical education provider. An exceptional writer in a variety of communication and marketing mediums. Strong project management skills, ideally with experience managing across multiple departments and outside vendors, are necessary for this position. Individual must be highly organized with a keen attention to detail and be able to work both independently as well as in a collaborative team.

AASLD headquarters is in Alexandria, VA. This position is currently remote due to COVID-19 through the end of 2022. AASLD offers a competitive benefits package, including a 35-hour workweek, generous vacation/holiday leave, and retirement contribution.
